4th of July

I wish I could say it was 4th of July excitement, but for his entire stay cousin Ty though it was hilarious to to scream in the cat's face at the top of his lungs. See the look of indignation on "Tiger's" face.

Eating patriotic confections. YUM!

A little snooze complete with blankets and thumbs preparing for the big night.

The anticipation of firecrackers.

Alex, a little shaken up by the unexpected noise level of a particularly loud fire cracker.

"This one next." "No, I want this one."
It didn't really matter what one came next because although the fire crackers had different titles and came in different packaging, they pretty much all did the same thing; a loud shriek and a few moments of colored sparks, followed by smoke and easily entertained children saying "ohhh".

Christopher sporting his patriotic duds.

Yes, we teach our children to play with fire at an early age. Daddy's so proud.

"I make fire."

See what I mean. "Oooo. Ahhhhh."

A couple of sparklers.

A couple more sparklers.
