While scrubbing down the kitchen chair for her Saturday morning chores (which are rather sporadic) Maycie says, "Mom, you're just like the step-mother. If you tell me to do one more thing I'm going to run away."
Apparently I'm too nice during the rest of the week. Time to step up the work load.
