Moms and Bondage
Tonight in our scripture reading we read about how the Nephites were in bondage to the Lamanites. We were trying to explain the concept of bondage to the kids and told them it's like doing things you don't want to do for someone else or not having any freedom like when you're sent to your room. Alex piped in, "Oh, so like we're in bondage to mom?" Right on, bud!

That is so awesome! I hope he doesn't forget that as a teenager.
Ha ha! I was thinking he was going to say "Moms are in bondage to their children." I guess that's a window into my psyche.
